Peter Lindforss: The Anger

The anger is gone
They say you mellow with age
I think that's a good thing
Maybe the visions or creations
Aren't so grand anymore
But was anger ever
A worthy foundation
I remember a father
Beating up his son
On Hydra 1982
I told him to try to kick my ass instead
“What do you know about life?” he said
But at least, he backed off
“Nothing”, I lied
Today, I guess I maybe
Would have kicked his ass
But that's another story
And anyway, the anger of helplessness is gone
